My brother has been by the last few days, helping me move limestone blocks around. I now have four garden beds, each just over a metre square.
In two of them I have planted tomato, beetroot and strawberry seedings.
In the other two, I have planted corn seeds. When these reach the point of having some leaves, I’ll plant borlotti beans right next to them, and butternut pumpkin in the same bed. Theoretically, the beans will climb up the corn, and the pumpkin will protect the soil.

We’ll see how it goes. Hopefully we’ll get some produce before I kill them:-)
