Today I finally got my passionfruit! I’ve put in three to increase the likelihood that at least one survives. I couldn’t resist looking at the vegetable seedlings, and so I picked up some leeks.
I planted them all. And I also put in the Borlotti beans and the Butternut seeds. Hopefully the corn (the transplanted ones) continue to survive—given I’ve just put beans near them… they’ll need something to climb.
And I put blood and bone on everything (well, the ground around everything). When I was watering it in (I was going to leave it to the rain, but then I wasn’t sure it was going to continue) I noticed that the roma tomatoes have a couple of flowers! Tomorrow I will probably pick them off, the plants are a little small as yet. I will also separate the beetroot a little. There were a couple of spots in the punnets that had more than one seedling, and they’ve all done well, so I’d like to give them a little more room.
All in all, the garden’s looking good:-) (Forgot to get Pad to photograph it this weekend though:-( )
