Bilby’s been climbing. She’s conquered the slide in our backyard (it’s about twice her height!) She started by climbing up the slope (astoundingly, that seemed easier) and sliding down again on her belly. The last ten days or so though, she has been climbing the ladder. Usually if she gets a chance where Puggle is occupied elsewhere:-) She would then turn around on the top, and slide down on her belly again. About Thursday, she finally managed to slide down properly. Friday she had a bit of a setback (’encouraged’ to slide before she was quite ready:-( )

So this weekend has all been re-establishing her confidence. There have been a number of climbs to the top of the steps, then going back down. She decided she was ready, so she did the belly slide again. Then she slipped a bit when climbing the steps (it had been a number of attempts in a row, and she was seeming pretty tired!) So she climbed down and went to the little plastic slide to practise there for a while. Once she felt reassured, she went back, climbed the slide and slid down properly.

And where was Puggle? He was on the trampoline:-) Jumping so much that his stomach bones hurt! (I’m still not quite sure what he means by that… he was holding his ribs, but I can’t see that he did anything to them!)
